More than 200 suspected child predators were arrested in Operation Restore Justice.
Attorney General Pam Bondi announced this week that federal and state authorities have arrested 205 suspected child predators in a five-day operation across the United States. The result of the FBI’s Operation Restore Justice was a partnership between 55 FBI field offices and over 90 state and local attorneys’ offices throughout the country. Among other crimes, the suspects were charged with child sex trafficking, possessing, producing, or distributing child sexual abuse material, and online enticement of minors.
“These depraved human beings, if convicted, will face the maximum penalty in prison — some life,” AG Bondi said during a news conference. She also stressed the importance of online safety as a tangible way for parents to protect their children against predators.
“Parents, you have to know this is so serious, your child has no right to privacy on the internet, none,” said the attorney general. “You have to monitor what your kids are doing, whether they’re playing games on the Internet, on social media, any other websites that children and teenagers frequent, an online predator can find them.”
“Every child deserves to grow up free from fear and exploitation, and the FBI will continue to be relentless in our pursuit of those who exploit the most vulnerable among us,” FBI Director Kash Patel said. “Operation Restore Justice proves that no predator is out of reach and no child will be forgotten. By leveraging the strength of all our field offices and our federal, state, and local partners, we’re sending a clear message: there is no place to hide for those who prey on children.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Attorney General Bondi to seek God’s guidance as she heads the Justice Department.
- For Director Patel to be led by the Lord as he leads the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
- For healing for the children and their families from the exploitation they survived.
